Run with us Calgary.
YYCRunCrew is a free, all levels run crew based in Calgary, Alberta. We run Tuesdays and Sundays from various locations around the city.
Our philosophy is simple, we’re all runners. Whether you’re lacing up for your first 3km run/walk, running your 10th half marathon, or lacing up to set a world record, you’re a runner. And if you’re a runner, you can run with us. And if you’ve run with the crew, you’re part of the crew. There’s no registration fees, and no sign up, just show up.
YYCRunCrew shirts are back featuring the new logo!

midweek vibes
YYCRunCrew | Eighty-Eight Brewing Co.
Join us on Tuesday nights this winter when we partner with Eighty-Eight Brewing Co. for our Tuesday night runs! Each week the route changes, but we have plenty of seasoned runners who’ve been coming for years to help lead the way for runners of all levels. There’s often a range of paces from 4:45min/km to 7:30min/km with everything in between and at the beginning of each run we’ll do our best to identify who is running what pace so that no one has to run alone. If you’re feeling a little unsure, we encourage runners to bring a friend along!
The route changes every week but we’ll post a long-ish route and a short mellow route on our instagram story each Monday so you can follow along. If you’re looking to familiarize yourself with the area, we’ve got a few of our most popular routes linked in Strava above.
Post run, we always enjoy a no shower happy hour at Eighty-Eight Brewing Co. Runners enjoy pint and food specials so don’t miss out!
that sunday vibe
easy like sunday morning
Here’s what to expect with at our Sunday morning run. Like all of our runs, this is a free community led run with no sign up fees and no registration. We meet directly north (the river side) of the The Simmons Building at 618 Confluence Way SE. Runners meet up at 9:20am to roll out at 9:30am. There’s often a range of paces from 4:45min/km to 7:30min/km with everything in between and at the beginning of each run we’ll do our best to identify who is running what pace so that no one has to run alone. If you’re feeling a little unsure, we encourage runners to bring a friend along!
To observe physical distancing guidelines we encourage runners to know the route(s) or follow along using Strava and avoid running in tight groups. We’ve spaced out run start times for different distances in hopes that we all finish our runs together.
Afterwards our tradition is to stick around and enjoy coffee from Phil and Sebastian’s, pastries from Sidewalk Citizen, and even an ice bath in the Bow River.
